This is our Christian Charity Outreach!
Unlike other companies that are solely focused on profit, we are committed to doing what is right for our fellow humans and their pets.
We are talking about people on the street with no home, no money, no food, no job, and most of all, no hope!
Part of our profits will be supporting this project, and we will seek to employ folks who want a fresh start while providing housing, food, and support to help get them on their feet again.
Yes, we will be offering jobs and paying them to work for us, or other companies, or to attend a trade school or Community College. It's better than a simple handout, it's a hand up!

Cost $25,000.00 to build and equip each SHELTER FOR VILLAGE
Village Camp 1 & 2 will be connected to the park site
This complex will include an Office, Common Area, Laundry Room, Food Outlet, and Storage units, as well as a dog walk area.
The area is fenced in with a guard station to ensure everyone's safety and security.
Camp 1 will have 100 emergency sleeping shelters
Camp 2 will have 100 program cabins (long-term)
We aim to construct at least 400 shelters over time, with an overall cost of approximately $ 5 million for the village, including all associated facilities.

A chance to live like a real human again, a place to call home, a real mailing address, and personal space that's all yours. Hot shower whenever you want, real food to eat, not always on the edge of starvation. A warm bed, TV, heating, or cooling as needed.
To a homeless person, this is a dream come true.
This is our mission, but we need all the help we can get, so we are asking for outside support. We hope to set an example by not just talking about it.

No one should sleep on the street or go hungry!
This camp provides for everyone in need without exception!
It is fundamental, providing sleeping shelters (heated or cooled as needed), with a private restroom and shower in each cabin. The camp has a Laundry and a central cafeteria.
This camp provides the very basic needs to sustain life and safety for all by clearing the streets of every last homeless person in our area who wants off the street. This is a pilot program that has worked in other areas, and we will seek any assistance from the Government and others, including Churches and other like-minded companies and community groups willing to offer assistance to help bring the homeless problem to an end in our area.
This is the right thing to do, it is the Christian thing to do, it is most of all the American thing to do by taking care of the least of these as God commanded us to do!

A Clean Restart for anyone who wants a helping hand to get back on their own feet, not a handout!
IS IT FREE? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
YOU WILL WORK FOR EVERYTHING, PAYING AS YOU GO, FOR THE SUPPORT GIVEN. HOWEVER, IF YOU REMAIN IN THE PROGRAM FOR ONE FULL YEAR, YOU KEEP WHAT YOU EARN FOR A NEW START!
Sounds hard, well in fact life is hard and so unfair, but no matter how or why you wound up on the street, we offer you a way to hold your head up and rejoin the human race by providing for your basic needs while you earn your way out of whatever reason you hit the sidewalk. That's right, no free rides, everyone, no matter your ability or skill level, will work 5 days a week, 8 hours a day! So just like most working folks, you will once again, or if for the first time in your life, work for what you receive.
JOB ASSIGNMENTS ARE BASED ON PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ABILITY TO DO THE WORK!
In some cases, your job will be to go to school to learn a new skill. You will be paid a wage (minimum) just like a normal job, and our partners or we will pay for the cost of your education.
If you are addicted to drugs or alcohol, you will first go to treatment that may take up to a month or more (yes, we provide support while you are in the treatment program) (treatment is in conjunction with another outreach in our area)
Everyone will see a doctor to document any health conditions that need to be treated, and if required, we will provide the medication prescribed. (All medication is controlled by the office and passed out by the on-site Nurse)
You will be assigned a living unit that will be your home for the next full year (couples are welcome, otherwise one person per cabin). Family cabins are currently under consideration and will be updated once the information is available.
Basic Concept
Everyone has a bank account set up for them with a debit card issued in their name. This account is locked, so only a weekly allowance can be withdrawn. (A preset amount of paycheck)
If you complete the full program, all funds in the account are fully released to you.
If you do not complete the full year, 35% of the funds are yours; the remainder is used to offset the cost of your care.
You will be required to sign a contract agreeing to the terms before starting this program.
THIS IS NOT A PRISON OR LOCK-DOWN PROGRAM. YOU CAN LEAVE ANYTIME YOU WISH!
This means that when not working, you can come and go as you wish, with certain rules that everyone must agree to and follow.
Most are common sense, but a few are mandatory, such as no alcohol or drug consumption on or off site (yes, you will be tested), no smoking in cabins (smoking allowed in set areas only), keeping your cabin clean so on and so forth.
Some meetings will be required for some AA or NA
Everyone will attend counseling to prevent repeating homelessness.
If you remain for the full program, whatever you have in your savings account will be matched by us dollar for dollar, and we will help you find employment, housing and transportation as needed.
This is the basic program and it is far more detailed but now you have an idea of what we are working on.

Be honest, what's the first thing that comes to mind when you see a Homeless Person?
I am reminded of the Bible story about " he or she", the one without sin cast the first stone!
Be honest with yourself, have you ever just wished that the homeless person you're looking at would just go away? After all, if they're uneducated, too lazy to work, or addicted to drugs or alcohol, or for any other reason, they are homeless, you say to yourself, It's just not my problem!
Something I think we should all remember and maybe take to heart
"Except by the grace of God, therefore go I."
The reason a person or family may end up homeless can have a variety of reasons, not always easy to understand and definitely not easy to fix.
Some people will never be able to rejoin society as a normal, productive person, and that is very sad, but no reason for all of us to turn our backs on them. "Every life has value, you just have to look for it."
At Street Salvation USA, we are working to help end the homelessness problem first in our area and then with God's help across the country by inspiring others to follow the same program in their area. Is it expensive, yes, but a lot cheaper than any alternative we know.
