 Our government is in disarray, and many people are suffering as a result of politics. Food Stamps or SNAP is a lifeline for a lot of people in this country, and the cost of health care is way out of control. That is the FACT of life today in our country.

An old saying I like is "If you give a man a fish, he eats for a day! But teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime." 

Democrats are dead wrong for shutting down the Government, and Republicans are also to blame for taking a chainsaw to the Budget without considering the harm it would do to the elderly and poor.

Get a job sounds good, and I agree if you can work, then you should, if and I say IF you can find a job! 

We are trying to build a company that will employ up to 2000 Mississippi workers once operational (Full Time - Part Time and Seasonal), plus use about 250 skilled and unskilled laborers while under construction.

The cost of Health care is another can of worms that Congress must address, as it is not within reason for anyone who works for a living.

Most people I know want to work, and some are too old or in poor health to work but still try, as the cost to just keep a roof over their head is beyond reason for the so-called help they receive.

And Jesus said, " The poor will always be with us."

I take that to say we should NOT try to grind them under our heel!

My advice to all Americans is to think about your neighbor before you open your mouth to condemn what you know not about, for some day you may be the one in need of help, and then you will understand what you truly do not understand and have coldly condemned. 

The government needs to balance the books, all while protecting every American Citizen from undue burdensome taxation or loss of any personal freedom or rights as guaranteed by the Constitution. In short, all politicians who wanted the job, so it's time to do your job or get out of the way for someone who can and will WORK for the American people (All of us, that is, not just your special interests)
