Welcome Friends, 

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to check in on how our little adventure is going.  And so, the battle continues to build this park.

We now have a Target Opening set for Spring 2027 and I think we will make that time frame if all continues to go well. 

The Wetlands issue has now been resolved. 

Funding while slow is moving forward.  

Design is moving forward and is based on America 1800's to1920's back to a time when Americans were a more grounded people with faith in the Creator. We have a lot to work within Southern history from the war of 1812 (Battle of New Orleans 1815) To Jean Lafitte (Pirate) to the Civil War. (1861-1865) Not a subject to be taken lightly even 160 years later.

From Indian wars to navigating the Mississippi river to hunters and trappers deep in the swamps and yes even Marie Lavo including a swamp monster known as the Rougarou !

 We are looking at folk lore all the way up to the roaring 20's not just in the south but all across America.  

Add to this a few more modern ideas about things like Lake Pontchartrain (idea from a song) and you get what we are up to in design.  While not a big fan of this type of music I have got to admit the storyline has some ideas that can be explored. After all our own (story tellers /dreamers) what we call our " Visiontech"  design staff  who have maybe a bit of new folk lore to add to the mix.
